Community Connections

Bringing communities, organisations and frontline workers together to build resilience across Kent

Community Connections is a developing programme within Kent Advice Hub that aims to strengthen local support networks, increase awareness of available services and help people access advice before problems reach crisis point.

Across Kent, charities, community groups, volunteers and frontline workers play a vital role in supporting residents facing financial hardship and other challenges. By helping these organisations work together, share knowledge and build confidence, Community Connections will create stronger pathways to support for those who need it most.

Funded through Kent County Council’s Crisis & Resilience Fund, the programme focuses on developing community resilience by strengthening local networks, increasing access to advice and empowering trusted partners to make a difference within their communities.

What we aim to achieve

Community Connections is being designed to

Equip frontline workers and volunteers with the skills and confidence to help others

Looking Ahead

Community Connections is currently under development, and we are working with community partners across Kent to shape a programme that reflects local needs and builds on the strengths already present within our communities.

As the programme grows, this page will be updated with information about training opportunities, partnership working, community outreach activities and ways to get involved.

By working together, we can create stronger, more connected communities where people can access support earlier and build resilience for the future.
